Ingredients:
4 ripe tomatoes, diced
1 small onion, finely chopped
1 clove garlic, minced
1 green bell pepper, diced
1 jalapeño pepper, seeded and minced (optional)
Juice of 1 lime
1/4 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
Combine tomatoes, onion, garlic, bell pepper, and jalapeño in a large bowl.
Add lime juice and cilantro.
Season with salt and pepper.
Mix well and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
Medium
Ingredients:
5 ripe tomatoes, diced
1 medium onion, finely chopped
2 cloves garlic, minced
2 jalapeño peppers, seeded and minced
1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
Juice of 2 limes
1 teaspoon ground cumin
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Mix tomatoes, onion, garlic, and jalapeño in a bowl.
Add cilantro, lime juice, and ground cumin.
Season with salt and pepper.
Stir well and let chill in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour.
Hot
Ingredients:
6 ripe tomatoes, diced
1 large onion, finely chopped
3 cloves garlic, minced
3 jalapeño peppers, seeded and minced
1 habanero pepper, seeded and minced
1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
Juice of 3 limes
1 teaspoon ground cumin
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
Combine tomatoes, onion, garlic, jalapeño, and habanero peppers in a bowl.
Add cilantro, lime juice, and ground cumin.
Season with salt and pepper.
Mix thoroughly and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
Very Hot
Ingredients:
6-8 tomatoes, diced
2-3 habanero peppers, finely chopped
1 jalapeño pepper, finely chopped
1 red onion, finely diced
3 garlic cloves, minced
1/4 cup cilantro, chopped
Juice of 2 limes
1 teaspoon salt
1/2 teaspoon black pepper
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon smoked paprika
Optional: 1-2 teaspoons sugar
Instructions:
Combine tomatoes, onion, garlic, jalapeño, and habanero peppers in a bowl.
Add cilantro, lime juice, and ground cumin.
Season with salt and pepper.
Mix thoroughly and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
Extremely Hot
Ingredients:
6 ripe tomatoes, diced
1 large onion, finely chopped
5 cloves garlic, minced
5 jalapeño peppers, seeded and minced
2 habanero peppers, seeded and minced
1 ghost pepper, seeded and minced (use gloves)
1 teaspoon chili powder
1/2 cup fresh cilantro, chopped
Juice of 4 limes
1 teaspoon ground cumin
Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions:
In a large bowl, mix tomatoes, onion, garlic, jalapeño, habanero, and ghost pepper (handle with care).
Add chili powder, cilantro, lime juice, and ground cumin.
Season with salt and pepper.
Mix thoroughly and refrigerate for at least 1 hour before serving.
